La Manche — abandoned outport

Down to the ruined outport at the bottom of the trail — foundations of a settlement washed out in a January storm decades before I was born, still there, mostly, if you know where to look. La Manche connects into the East Coast Trail; the boardwalk section is one of the best walks on the Avalon.
