Toronto → St. John's — moving east
Not a trip so much as the start of a chapter.
Not a trip so much as the start of a chapter. Two-year-old Cherry riding shotgun through Québec, into New Brunswick, across on the ferry from North Sydney into Port aux Basques, then the long drive to St. John’s.
The passenger-seat photo on the Cherry page is from this drive — 21 June 2016, somewhere along the highway east.
Six years of Newfoundland followed: Terra Nova, PEI, Fundy, La Manche, Butterpot, Frenchman’s Cove, Dildo Run, Gros Morne, and every section of the East Coast Trail we could work into a weekend. All of it traces back to this move.
Placeholder body — the actual drive, the ferry crossing, where you slept the first night in the new place.
